This was the car that put me on the map.
I think I paid $150 for it, cut the springs with a hacksaw, drilled out the jets,
and bolted on a header for the first season.
Then I shaved sixty thousandths off the head (220psi per cyl),
went with side-draft Webers, ported the snot out of it,
and threw in a cam...it pulled 7500 in 5th and gave me the
SCCA Solo II Southeast Divisional Championship. Neat car.
