As instructor, sometimes your students invite you to share
driving duties at the endurance races.
BUT, just because they call it Showroom Stock,
doesn't necessarily mean the car has to be stock!
Nevertheless, one of my Skip Barber students and I
managed a mid-pack finish at Sebring in the mid-80s with
this bone-stock MR2. This, despite about a half-hour trackside
repair to reattach the right rear caliper!
